Octopath Traveler II dwells on the presentation of two characters in its new trailer

With all the fuss caused by the people of the Game Awards and the exit tunnel that is taking shape for the month of February 2023, we would have almost forgotten the existence ofOctopath Traveler II, a highly anticipated sequel. Now that Square-Enix has released all its end-of-year games, it can dwell on the presentation of this new JRPG which will feature new characters. A new trailer was released today to introduce us to two of these heroes at length.

The thief and the cleric

We discover here Throne Anguis and Temenos Mistraltwo of the characters that we will follow throughout this new choral epic. Throné is presented as a thief member of the Blacksnakes guild, who has only one desire: to leave this world of crime to gain his freedom. She will begin her adventure in a large city in the Eastern Solistia region, and as you might expect, her abilities will come down to robbing her enemies and ambushing them.

A profile quite opposite to that of Temenos, who presents himself as a cleric who is going to investigate a tragic event that happened in his church. He will be able to summon people to help him in combat and force these adversaries to answer his questions if he manages to defeat them.

Octopath Traveler II will be released on February 24, 2023 on PC via Steam, Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Pre-orders around the game are already open.
