Accidentally slipped ?! No! We are now consciously putting our shoulder in the limelight. While we’ve been giving this trend the cold shoulder in recent years, it’s now more popular than ever! This winter we obviously want to make ourselves extra cozy with teddy fur, warm chunky knits and soft cashmere or alpaca. But this trend gives the whole thing a pinch of sexiness: Shoulder-free sweaters are back in fashion.
The golden rule for the off-the-shoulder look
Whether feminine with an elegant skirt or casual with jeans and sneakers – there is only one rule here: a break in style has to be made. In addition, the feel-good factor is right at the top. Because despite the sexy appearance, we still want to feel right at home in this trend piece and are guaranteed not to freeze. Angelina Jolie leads the way. It combines the casual off-the-shoulder knit with a chic midi skirt. This makes the outfit a subtle eye-catcher, because the focus is on the sexy twist. One thing is certain, there is no way around sweaters with an off-the-shoulder neckline.
