Olympique Lyonnais is pleased to announce the arrivals, from Botafogo, of goalkeeper Lucas Perri and central defender Adryelson for an amount, respectively, of €3.250 million and €3.580 million to which can be added an incentive of 50% on a possible future transfer.
Called up for the Brazilian selection for the first time this season, the two international players have signed up with Olympique Lyonnais until June 30, 2028.
Born in 1997 in Campinas, Lucas Perri made his professional debut in 2019 with Sao Paulo. The 1m97 goalkeeper played 10 matches with the Brazilian club before joining Nautico in 2022. Lucas Perri established himself in the Recife club and played almost all of his team’s matches (44 matches), pushing Botafogo to recruit him a few months later.
Having started 67 times with the Rio-based team, the 26-year-old goalkeeper is called up for the first
time
time with the Seleção last September by Fernando Diniz, the coach.
At 25, Adryelson has also built up a very good reputation in Brazil. Born in Barao de Grajau in 1998, the central defender started in 2015 at Sport Recife with whom he played nearly 130 matches in 7 seasons. Loaned for a year to Al Wasl (Dubai), he signed up in 2022 with Botafogo where he reunited with Lucas Perri, winner like him of the Toulon tournament with the Brazilian Espoirs. Adryelson played 75 games (4 goals) with Botafogo and made an impression with his combativeness and his strength of character. Significant performances which allowed him to obtain his first call-up with the A selection in the fall, then to be elected, in December, to the standard team for the Brazilian Championship.
