(Boursier.com) — Eagle Football and OL Group announce the arrival of Santiago Cucci (53) as interim Executive President of the Olympique Lyonnais group. After joining Eagle Football as Director of Revenue, Santiago Cucci was hired by OL Groupe and joined the executive committee, on the decision of John Textor, Chairman and CEO.
Recognized for his vast experience in developing global projects, the Frenchman will be on a mission to start building the future of Olympique Lyonnais while respecting his legacy. Already, Santiago Cucci has contributed to the success of several global companies such as Levi’s Strauss and Dockers, of which he has served as President for the past 3 years.
Throughout his professional career, Mr. Cucci has always maintained a direct connection with the world of football and is “looking forward to actively participating in the construction and promotion of a major institution like Olympique Lyonnais”.
Thanks to his knowledge and skills in development and business, the new Executive President will accompany the club in the new stages to come, allowing the institution to evolve towards a more flexible and modern model, in tune with the times and the expectations, where all of the components such as the operation of the stadium, the Arena, and more broadly, the OL Vallée site, are at the service of the club and its fans.
John Textor retains his role as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive of OL Group.
