Former Queen Sofia of Spain (84) once again collected rubbish as a volunteer. Together with around twenty other people According to Spanish media reports, she was traveling to Murcia for this purpose. The mother of King Felipe VI. (55) took part in the waste disposal campaign on a voluntary basis through a foundation project.
The group of volunteers was reportedly at La Caleta del Estacio beach in San Javier (Murcia) to collect trash. In addition to the old queen, some Spanish politicians are also said to have taken part in the project. Queen Sofia’s collaboration with the campaign apparently began back in 2018 through her foundation. It is said to be the seventh time that she has volunteered to clean up trash.
