Olivia Jones cannot compete in "Schlag den Star" on Saturday as planned. As spot on news learned, the drag queen is ill.
Olivia Jones (51) should have competed against presenter Sonja Zietlow (52) on the ProSieben show "Schlag den Star" next Saturday. But nothing comes of it: As the broadcaster of the news agency spot on news announced, the drag queen is out. The reason: she is sick. "I could bite my a … with anger, but I'm just less able to do that than usual," Jones is quoted as saying. For the afternoon, the drag queen announced a statement on her Facebook account.
"I've been feeling sick and powerless for days, hoping that it will get better by Saturday, but so far this has not been the case," continued Jones. She has a flu-like infection and her doctor has explained to her that it is irresponsible to start in this condition: "He says that flu is not to be trifled with, I have to cure myself." Because she was looking forward to the duel, she is now "totally disappointed, angry and sad".
As a broadcaster also confirmed, there is currently no replacement for Olivia Jones. They are currently looking for an opponent for Sonja Zietlow. It remains to be seen whether this task will be that easy. After all, the jungle camp moderator is considered intelligent and sporty. Who will dare to duel with her?
