Olivier Pernaut: after the dramatic death of his father, he tastes the pleasures of Dubai with his wife and children


On April 29, 2022, Olivier Pernaut traveled to Dubai with his wife and their two children. The family has decided to take advantage of a well-deserved vacation, two months after the death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut.

On March 2, 2022, Olivier Pernaut lost his father, Jean-Pierre Pernaut, at the age of 71. The journalist who suffered from a lung cancer was the father of Olivier and Julia, born of his first union with Dominique Bonnet, and of Lou and Tom, of his relationship with Nathalie Marquay.

Very saddened by the disappearance of his father, Olivier Pernaut had delivered a vibrant tribute during the funeral of the man who shared his passion for motorsport. “I will forever remember the last look we exchanged, the day before your operation, when I left your room. We both looked a little worried, I think. And we didn’t really want to leave each other that day” he had said in particular.

Olivier Pernaut took advantage of a “family trip” to Dubai

Less than two months after the loss of his dear dad, Olivier Pernaut decided to change his mind and take advantage of well deserved vacation with his family. The one who is married to Catherine Dupraz and father of Leo and Rose went to Dubai. On Instagram, he shared in story photos of his “family tripon Friday, April 29.

Olivier Pernaut showed the breathtaking landscapes of United Arab Emirates and also shared his family moments. On the program, meeting with the bear from the cartoon Masha and Michka, tasting of ice cream made by a woman-robot, Dubai Global Village Tour. The whole family was able to enjoy a moment of fun in the gigantic amusement park made up of rides, concerts and shows. From necessary vacation for the professional rally driver who needed to refocus on the essentials.
