Olympic Games 2024: Sale of train tickets blocked for three Parisian stations on July 26


PARIS, March 13 (Reuters) – The sale of train tickets departing from or arriving at Paris Gare de Lyon, Austerlitz and Paris-Bercy is currently blocked for July 26, the date of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games of Paris 2024, the French National Railway Company (SNCF) announced on Wednesday.

The TGV Inoui, Ouigo, Intercités, TGV Lyria and TER trains “will be put on sale upon validation of the conditions for organizing the opening ceremony of Paris 2024 by the public authorities”, communicated the SNCF on its website while It opened its ticket office at 6 a.m. for the summer, from July 6 to September 11.

The opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will take the form of a parade on the Seine, six kilometers long, between the Pont d’Austerlitz and the Pont d’Iéna, before ending in front of the Trocadéro.
