In “Lupin” on Netflix, the character played by Omar Sy is a real chameleon who slips into the skin of any character to achieve his ends. But in season 3, one of his costumes put doubt in the heads of Internet users.

In Lupine, Omar Sy accustomed us to disguises, each more original than the last. Sometimes garbage collector, delivery man, BRI agent or even king of sap, season 3, which was put online this Thursday on Netflix, still has some very nice surprises in store which should amuse subscribers of the American platform.
And if, usually, we always manage to recognize Omar Sy in the disguises of the gentleman burglar, this new burst of episodes has succeeded in putting doubt in the heads of many viewers.
Is Omar Sy Raoul’s coach?
In part 3 of Lupine, Assane Diop decides to fake his own death in order to start a new life far from France with his ex-wife, Claire, and his son, Raoul.
If the thief’s plan goes smoothly, he discovers that his mother, whom he has not seen for years, has been kidnapped by a mysterious kidnapper. To free her, he has no choice but to commit more heists.
He therefore decides to remain “dead” in the eyes of everyone, except Benjamin, his best friend, who continues to help him in his new plans. Of course, Assane is not ready to leave his family defenseless. He wants to keep an eye on them in order to protect them.
He then finds a subterfuge to continue to be around them while hiding from them that he is still alive. He will hide under numerous prosthetics which completely transform his face and pretends to be Alex, Raoul’s new basketball coach.
But is it really Omar Sy hidden under this camouflage? If we could have any doubt while watching this season 3 of Lupine, as the work of the makeup artists is impressive, it is indeed Omar Sy in the disguise of the coach.
His face and hairstyle certainly make him unrecognizable, but his voice, his intonations and his gaze leave no doubt. And if you’re looking for further proof, pay close attention to the end credits: Alex’s character doesn’t appear, since it’s just a disguise.
