The blue bird social network has deployed a new feature for owners of Apple-branded devices. Indeed, it is now possible to create GIFs before sharing them online.

For several weeks now, Twitter has been deploying new tools to allow Internet users to interact differently with each other. Starting with the downvotes that can only be addressed to replies under a tweet. These appreciations are private since no one, not even the author of the message, can see them. Today, a slightly more positive feature is making its debut.

Thus, users with an iOS device are now able to create their own GIFs via the camera of their smartphone. On the Twitter application, simply type a new message, select the camera icon and choose the GIF option to create it and then share it on the social network. Nothing’s easier !

For the moment, the customization of these animated images is only reserved for iPhones and iOS touch pads. Twitter hasn’t announced anything for Android devices. So we will have to wait a little longer.
