In 1871, an ambassador of the Japanese Emperor and his two bodyguards, Kuroda and Namuro, cross the American West aboard a train which will take them to meet the President of the United States. The mission of the ambassador is to offer his host an object of inestimable value: a samurai sword.
Unfortunately, the convoy is also carrying gold and is targeted by two lawless bandits, Gotch and Link. They manage to steal the cargo and at the same time steal the precious gift… Gotch, realizing the amount of the larceny, does not hesitate for a second to betray Link and flee with the loot. Link will then join forces with Kuroda in order to find the saber and the gold.
