One Piece Odyssey: Water Seven and the clash against CP9 will be in the game

Early next year, the crew of Luffy will return to our consoles and PC with One Piece Odysseya game whose name invites you to travel and whose action will mainly take place on the new island of Waford, but not only. In effect, the band of pirates will somehow relive some of their previous adventures in the world of Memoria and we have already been able to see what it will give with Alabasta through a trailer and gameplay. Several symbols indeed suggested that other places could be visited. Well, good news, it will be with a recreation of Water Seven.

The island known for its shipyards and which served as the setting for one of the manga’s most popular arcs will therefore be present, as well asEnies Lobby since Rob Lucci in its hybrid form introduces the video and that we see the Rocketman.

In One Piece Odyssey, players will embark on an adventure with Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they attempt to regain their lost powers. To do this, they will visit “Memoria”, a world built from the memories of their previous encounters, which will lead them to return to important places in their history, such as Alabasta and Water Seven.

During this adventure, you will discover a new story around the Straw Hats, with a particular focus on Usopp and Robin. This quest will lead them to revisit familiar places, such as the Gallery-The Company or known faces like the gang of Franky, Iceburg, Aokiji and some CP9 members like Lucci and Kaku. But while the locations and situations may seem familiar, nothing is exactly as they remember them, and players will notice some differences with the story, which some of them know and appreciate.

Do’ILCA will play the card of nostalgia to the full until replacing the scene of farewell to the Merry ? Wait & see. One Piece Odyssey will in any case not lack attraction when it is released on January 13, 2023 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and PC. You can pre-order it on Amazon at a price of €69.99.
