Work on Netflix’s live-action adaptation “One Piece” appears to be making progress. Now the first pictures of the pirate ships in the series are appearing on social media.

“One Piece” appears to be making great strides on Netflix. Mission new set photos give you a first look at the pirate ships the live action adaptation. Only recently the occupation of the Straw Hat Pirates was announced.
“One Piece” started as a manga series in 1997 and has already produced an anime adaptation. The live-action series is also based on the template by Eiichiro Oda, who is involved in the Netflix production.
Now new set photos appear on social media, the one First look at the pirate ships of the series that were built for “One Piece” became. The pictures apparently come from the user Risebito and were then shared by the OP_Netflix_Fan account. On the four photos are several large ships in different stages of construction shown.
The production of the Netflix live-action adaptation has not yet started, as reported by the online magazine Screen Rant. “One Piece” is being shot at Cape Town Film Studios in South Africa. Even if the photos were taken from a distance, the buildings apparently resemble their anime templates. One of the ships bears a striking resemblance to the Miss Love Duck from pirate captain Alvida, a large pink ship with a duck figurehead.
A larger ship that is still in the early construction phase can also be discovered. Its sheer size suggests that it is Dreadnaught Saber , the flagship of the war pirate gang featured in Sanji’s story arc. Of the iconic flying lamb, the ship of the straw pirates, is still missing any trace.

He is supported by Emily Rudd (“Fear Street”) as Nami, the Navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates, and Taz Skylar (“Boiling Point”) as Sanji, the crew’s cook. “Pacific Rim: Uprising” star Mackenyu and “Greenleaf” star Jacob Gibson complete the cast as swordsman Lorenor Zorro and sniper Usopp, respectively.

Fans are always concerned when a popular anime is turned into a real-life film. It doesn’t look any different with “One Piece” either. The series is produced by Tomorrow Studios, who were also behind the last live-action adaptation “Cowboy Bebop”, which was canceled after only one season.
