One year of unlimited charging at Ionity terminals offered for the purchase of an electric BMW

BRIEF // For the acquisition of an iX3, i4, iX or soon i7 electric car, BMW France offers its customers one year of unlimited charging at Ionity fast terminals. The charge there is usually charged at €0.79/min.

The fear of long journeys is one of the main obstacles to buying an electric car. Tesla has understood this well by developing an efficient and easy-to-use fast charging network.

It was not until the slow deployment of the Ionity network that drivers of other electric vehicles could finally enjoy a decent charging experience. At the origin of the project is a consortium of manufacturers: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Ford and Porsche, since joined by other groups.

The members of this consortium offer preferential rates to their customers. At BMW, for example, by subscribing to the Ionity Plus subscription at €13/month, drivers benefit from a rate of €0.30/min, compared to the usual €0.79/min. Otherwise, the Ionity Passport offer, accessible to all and billed at €17.99/month, provides access to the terminals at the price of €0.35/min.

In addition to this advantage, new customers of electric BMW iX3, i4, iX and soon i7 (orders placed between April 1 and December 31, 2022) now benefit from one year of unlimited charging at Ionity terminals in France.

The Ionity fast charging network has 410 stations in Europe, including around a hundred in France.
