OnePlus 10 Pro: presentation date and design have been formalized

OnePlus has decided to shake up its schedule by announcing its next flagship at the start of the year. The firm was counting on its participation in CES in Las Vegas to unveil the best endowed of its series 10, but it had to retract in view of the health situation. Never mind, because even if no stand is planned at the show, OnePlus will present its next model on January 11 at 7 a.m. (French time) during a conference broadcast from China. It is not yet known whether the “classic” version 10 of the device will be made official simultaneously.

The first official images of the OnePlus 10 Pro

After months of rumors of all kinds, OnePlus finally decides to broadcast the first pictures of the Pro version of its flagship. The images obviously agree with the 3D renderings distilled over the past few weeks. The design is therefore no surprise for those who follow the brand’s news. These official visuals allow us to see that the smartphone will be offered in two colors: Volcanic Black or Emerald Forest (black or green). It will benefit from more matte finishes than in 2021.

The few pictures also allow us to see that the partnership with Hasselblad is still at work. This is not a surprise since the two companies have entered into an agreement over several years, obviously dedicated to the photo part of OnePlus smartphones, whether at the software or hardware level. Three modules are integrated into the 10 Pro: a probably classic trio consisting of a wide-angle, an ultra-wide-angle and a telephoto lens. There is a fourth circle on the photo island; a flash surrounding a mysterious P2D 50T mention.

Note that the integration of these modules differs from what OnePlus usually offers. The block extends to the edge of the smartphone, which is reminiscent of the design of Samsung’s Galaxy S21.
