It’s been a few years since the Chinese OnePlus entered the wireless headphones market, with its Buds range. After the Buds Pro two years ago, then offered at a price of 149 euros, the group bet on more affordable headphones, but still equipped with the active noise reduction function. This materialized last year with the Nords Buds, at only 49 euros.
Today, the Chinese brand is taking advantage of the launch of its new Nord CE 3 Lite to formalize the second generation of Nord Buds. A new version that is full of new features, while maintaining a very attractive price, although up 40%.
The Nord Buds 2 go full bass
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are built around 12.4mm drivers, with the added bonus of a new design and active noise cancellation that climbs up to 25dB. OnePlus also promises better management of low frequencies, thanks in particular to a titanium coating and a new BassWave algorithm, for a “ grooving every moment “. Even better, the headphones are advertised as being Dolby Atmos compatible.
On the autonomy side, OnePlus announces no less than 7 hours of listening time for the in-ear headphones, and up to 36 hours using the supplied charging box, which allows (and you will have already calculated it) a total of 4 recharges . Fast charging is also a must, since only 10 minutes of charging can recover up to 5 hours of listening.
Of course, the new Nord Buds 2 are also designed for sport, with water and sweat resistance. Finally, like the brand’s other headphones, the Fast Pair connection is always available with OnePlus smartphones, for instant pairing. A few days ago, a rumor suggested that the parent company BBK Electronic had decided to no longer market OPPO and OnePlus products in several European countries.
The new OnePlus Nord Buds 2 headphones are already available in France, at a price of 69 euros. On the color side, the new headphones signed OnePlus are available in Lightning White and Thunder Gray.
