OnePlus security update is rolling out, but are you affected?

A new OnePlus update… but not for everyone
OnePlus smartphone owners can start looking at the “ Software update from their phone. An update that concerns many smartphones, but not all OnePlus terminals are in the same boat.
The OnePlus smartphones affected by the May update are:
- OnePlus 10
- OnePlus 8 / OnePlus 8 Pro
- OnePlus Nord 2T / OnePlus Nord N20 5G
Indeed, you should know that OnePlus smartphones benefit from staggered updates. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 7 ranges having, for example, been served very recently (with the April security patch), they should therefore benefit from a new update in June/July, i.e. a few weeks later than the smartphones listed above. -above.
Remember in passing that the group has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6 range (launched in 2018) will no longer receive a major update.
