Next month, OnePlus will lift the veil that revolves around its future smartphones. But the Chinese brand has another surprise in its bag for us…

This does not concern the new, freshly announced OnePlus keyboard, but a touch pad.

The OnePlus Pad officially teased

Like every year, February will be a month marked by announcements from smartphone manufacturers. After Samsung on 1er next February, it will be OnePlus’ turn to speak, more exactly on the 7the day of the month. On this occasion, the Chinese will of course take the opportunity to present his OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R to us. But in addition to that, he will take the opportunity to unveil his very first touch pad.

It’s no secret that leaks are commonplace in the wonderful world of tech. Well, this time it’s not an unfortunate leak, but official information shared exclusively with our colleagues from TechRadar. OnePlus has therefore unveiled a very first image of what will be its first tablet: the OnePlus Pad.

OnePlus Pad: the rear camera located… in the center of the tablet

Although the Chinese manufacturer has some exclusives for its presentation on February 7, it still took the opportunity to give us a taste of what the OnePlus Pad will look like (and in pictures, please!) .

The first element that we can immediately note is the placement of the photo sensor on the back of the tablet. This is indeed located in the center of the device, and not at the edge as is usually the case. The idea here would be to allow future purchasers of the OnePlus Pad to capture photos in a position that would be more in line with their own vision. As reported by CNET (whose article this time was written by a human being), the sensor would be centered on the longest edge of the tablet and would be relatively
prominent.

If we will have to wait a few more days to learn more about it, we already know that the OnePlus Pad will be equipped with a “Halo Green” dress made of aluminum alloy. Other colors could be offered later, and the launch would first take place in the Indian market. It now remains to discover to what extent the placement of the camera may (or not) be inconvenient, and above all, to know the technical specificities of this first tablet signed OnePlus.
