OnePlus returns with two new terminals: the OnePlus Nord 2T and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. These are two mid-range smartphones that enrich the Nord range. The brand also introduced the OnePlus Nord Buds.
By inaugurating the Nord range in 2020, OnePlus has returned to its fundamentals: offering good smartphones at a reduced price. Two years after this launch, the Nord family has been enriched with numerous products. Today, three new members have been added to the family: two smartphones and a pair of wireless headphones.
First there is the OnePlus Nord 2Tan upgraded version of the Nord 2 released in July 2021. The second is the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. This is a cheaper (and more relevant) version of the Nord CE 2. Finally, the North Buds show that the manufacturer wants to diversify its range beyond phones.
The OnePlus Nord 2T, a Nord 2 with really fast fast charging
The OnePlus Nord 2T largely takes up the technical data sheet of the Nord 2. It embeds a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen (FHD+, 90Hz)8 or 12 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of memory, a 4500 mAh battery and a photo module consisting of a 50 megapixel sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle and a monochrome sensor of 2 megapixels.

The Nord 2T differs from its model on three points: its revised and corrected design, first of all, which is more “premium”. Then we find a new processor, the MediaTek 1300 (against 1200 for the Nord 2), more powerful. Finally, this Nord 2T embeds 80 Watt SuperVOOC fast charging, an innovation that made its debut on the OnePlus 10 Pro. A real selling point, since the terminal can fully recharge in half an hour flat. Of course, it has Android 12 with the Oxygen OS 12.1 overlay.
The Nord 2T will be sold from May 24 (in jade and gray colors) at a price of 429 euros (8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage) or 529 euros (12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage). At the same configuration, it’s 30 euros more than the classic Nord 2.

We had the privilege of testing it in advance and our conclusions are clear: it is an excellent product for its price range.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, the entry level of OnePlus
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 did not convince us because of its too many concessions for a price ultimately very close to the Nord 2. With the CE 2 Lite, OnePlus corrects this error by offering a really cheaper terminal. Again, it largely takes up the technical data sheet of the Nord CE 2.
The terminal offers a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Inside we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 5000 mAh battery (33 Watts fast charge) and a photo module composed of a 64 Mp main sensor, a 2 Mp depth sensor and a 2 Mp macro sensor. A modest technical sheet for a smartphone which will be sold (in blue and black colors) at 319 euros from May 24.
Finally, OnePlus extends its Nord range to audio with its Northern Buds. These are entry-level True Wireless headphones that connect in Bluetooth 5.2, which are IP55 certified and which offer 30 hours of battery life with the case. They will be available on May 24 at 50 euros.
