A woman learns that private photos were used for a fake profile on “The Casual Lounge”. She is horrified.
Claudine (38) is single and is said to like lingerie. And she also has various other preferences: she likes anal and oral sex, erotic toys and dirty talk. At least that’s the information on Thecasuallounge.ch – a portal where you can supposedly meet people who want quick and uncomplicated sex.
I find this to be serious abuse.
However: Claudine (38) is a fake. The photos of her belong to Sonja Meier (name changed). She found out from an acquaintance that there was a profile with her photos on Thecasuallounge.ch. “I was surprised that something like this is even possible – and I was shocked by the information that was given about me there.”
After all: When she was made aware of the wrong profile, the platform reacted quickly and deleted the profile. For Sonja Meier, however, the matter is not over: “I think this is serious abuse.”
But she also feels that such a fake profile is unfair to the paying users. That belongs to the public. For this reason, she reported to the SRF consumer magazine “Espresso”.
“Animators” are the order of the day
“Espresso” has already reported that the profiles of sex portals are often not much more than hot air. These portals often use so-called animators. These can be real people who only pretend to want quick sex. It’s all about keeping paying users happy.
Thecasuallounge.ch writes in the general terms and conditions that the user is aware that he “cannot meet these animators in real life”.
Whether Sonja Meier’s fake profile was an animator’s profile or whether someone made a stupid joke with her photos remains to be seen. Either way, there shouldn’t be such cases, because according to Thecasuallounge.ch, they check the members “extensively”. Each profile is “manually verified”.
“Espresso” would have liked to know about the platform operators, which is why someone could still create a profile with Sonja Meier’s photos. You have not responded to the request.
