“Open myself up to other relationships? I don’t want to at all”

During an interview with Current Woman this Friday, January 12, Nathalie Marquay looked back on her love life, and on her lack of desire to invest in a new relationship.

An absence that is still difficult to live with. On March 2, 2022, Jean-Pierre Pernaut left us, after a long fight against cancer. A loss which was difficult to accept for the loyal viewers of TF1’s 1 p.m. show, but also for those close to him. His friends and family continue, almost two years after his death, to mourn him, and to regret that he is not there with them. This is particularly the case of his wife, Nathalie Marquay, who confided last September “dream and talk with him every day“. An absence that weighs on her, even if he continues to live in her heart. So much so that she does not, for the moment, have the desire to invest again in a sentimental relationship, like her revealed it to Current wife this Friday, January 12.

Open myself up to other relationships? So there, frankly, I don’t want it at all“, she states unambiguously. A clear opinion that she explains, not by the fact that the presence of her husband is still within her, but by the fact that she does not feel the desire to to rebuild her life from now on. However, she raises the possibility of the day when this will be the case. Nathalie Marquay explains that if she ever started dating someone again, it would be because the latter would have been sent by Jean-Pierre Pernaut. A sort of sign that she can now start her life again. But Nathalie Marquay affirms it, “he has not been born, the one who will replace Jean-Pierre.”

Jean-Pierre Pernaut would not have died of cancer

On the occasion of the release of her new book, Nathalie Marquay wondered about the death of her husband. For her, it is possible that he did not die of cancer. Indeed, in an interview given to Gala, she expresses her doubts, and notably returns to an event which happened shortly before her husband’s first stroke. He had then just received his first dose of vaccine against Covid-19: “I’m not a doctor, but I wonder if the vaccine and radiotherapy go well together, because, eight days after the third vaccination, he had a first stroke.”
His book, A sign from youhas been available from Guy Trédaniel since January 4, 2024.
