Monday January 18, 2021, the Greek Prime Minister received his dose of reminder in front of the journalists of his country. He had already invited the media to attend his first vaccination on December 27, 2020. Proud, the 52-year-old politician shared the images of his medical visit on his social networks in order to encourage a maximum of his compatriots to do so the same.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis urges Greeks to get vaccinated

“Today I received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. We wanted to send the message to the company that the vaccine is safe and effective, in order to convince our most reluctant fellow citizens, Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on his Instagram account. And if the photographs and videos of his vaccination aroused so much interest, it is in particular because the head of the Greek government appears there shirtless, for the needs of his injection of course … and to the greatest pleasure of some Internet users.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis enjoys significant popularity in Greece, which could help convince a number of people to get vaccinated against Covid-19. According to a survey conducted by Prorata and relayed by the newspaper Greek City Times, the Prime Minister is the most popular political leader in the country, with 46% of the vote. On the other hand, its desire to introduce a European vaccination passport is the subject of debate among EU states.
