The media Vox was in fact able to have access to leaked documents in which journalists were able to read the conditions imposed on resigning employees.
The latter are thus obliged to sign an agreement, for which they only have a very short time to think, imposing numerous constraints on them to prevent them from criticizing the Californian firm. If they refuse, they are threatened with losing the OpenAI shares acquired as an employee, which are worth a small fortune. No deadline for this contractual gag has been set.

This is why, since the leak, OpenAI has been experiencing an internal crisis, with employees who thought they had their shares permanently understanding that they could ultimately be taken back from them. The controversy is such that boss Sam Altman had to react publicly on this issue.
