The Opera browser offers its VPN functions to iOS users for free.

Owners of an iPhone or iPad simply download the application from the App Store to enjoy it.

Free Opera VPN on iOS

The alternative operator Opera has been integrating a free VPN for a few years now. Already available on various platforms (Mac, Windows, Android, etc.), the Norwegian browser’s VPN is now available on iOS. Remember that a VPN is a tool that guarantees the security of private data and anonymity online, and which can be very useful for streaming.

To take advantage of the benefits of this free VPN made in Opera on iOS, nothing could be simpler, since all you have to do is download the eponymous application from the App Store. Once the VPN is activated (in the “Settings” section of the browser), users instantly enjoy anonymous surfing and a private IP address, all without any special subscriptions or extensions.

Although the feature is now available to everyone, the rollout of Opera’s Free VPN on iOS is gradual, and the feature could take a few days or weeks to arrive to all users. Among the new things to come, the browser’s parent company recently incorporated conversational AI into its products, with ChatGPT and ChatSonic.

Opera

  • Very efficient Speed Dial and Sidebar
  • Excellent performance
  • Productivity-oriented environment and features

Functional, intuitive, comfortable, displaying excellent performance and browsing speed, Opera has nothing to envy to the most widely used consumer Internet browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge. Its productivity-oriented features make it a qualified service for everyday, professional and personal tasks. We also appreciate its desire to offer Internet users a stable and secure environment partly supported by its Chromium base as well as its options related to the protection of privacy (VPN, ad blocker, IPFS and WebRTC settings).
