Fire alarm on Tuesday morning at a hotel in Eben am Achensee in Tyrol! A fire suddenly broke out in a staff room. Luckily no one was injured.

Shortly after 6:30 a.m. the sirens wailed in Maurach am Achensee. “A fire broke out in a staff room at a hotel,” the police said. A neighbor noticed smoke coming from the room on the second floor and immediately raised the alarm. The fire brigades from Eben am Achensee and Pertisau were quickly able to extinguish the fire in the staff room, but the floor had to be evacuated. “No one was harmed,” said the executive. Fire broke out on hotplate After extinguishing work and extensive ventilation measures, the remaining guests were able to re-enter the hotel after about an hour and a half of operation; only the room in which the fire had occurred was removed has been significantly affected and, according to the fire department, remains uninhabitable. The exact amount of property damage is currently unknown. According to the fire investigation, the fire broke out in the area of ​​an electronic hotplate on which a hot air fryer was located.
