However, Ophélie Meunier did not escape the threats and her safety had to be ensured. “I did the job that I feel I should do on a show whose decision is ultimately mine. In this case, the journalist is not the only one to have received threats. Indeed, the lawyer Amine Elbahi, who appears in several sequences of the report, spoke on BFMTV. “My phone number circulated on social networks, several murder calls were broadcast“, he revealed before adding: “I am threatened with beheading, with the throat cut, with attacking me because I held a speech of truth with an uncovered face and in particular on the inaction of the mayor of my commune”, he concluded.
