The new film by star director Christopher Nolan (52, “Inception”) will be released on July 20th. A first premiere celebration of “Oppenheimer” took place in Paris on Tuesday (July 11). In addition to their co-stars put in particular Emily Blunt (40) made an elegant appearance. The British-American actress wore a pastel green satin dress and looked elegant in the gown with padded shoulders, a collar and long sleeves. Gathering at the side gave the ankle-length dress another visual highlight.

Blunt combined the dress with high lace mules in silver and jewelry in the form of sparkling earrings and several rings. She wore her hair open in a side parting and in glamorous retro waves. She kept her makeup subtle with some mascara and pink lipstick.

Colleagues opted for calm looks

The focus of the film “Oppenheimer” is the physicist Robert Oppenheimer, who, as scientific director of the Manhattan Project for the USA, developed the atomic bomb – in a fight against time, the Nazis and one’s own conscience. The title role embodies Cillian Murphy (47), his first leading role with Nolan after various smaller parts. Emily Blunt plays his wife, Kitty. Matt Damon (52) gives Leslie R. Groves and Robert Downey Jr. (58) Lewis Strauss.

The actors and Christopher Nolan accompanied Blunt to Paris, but opted for more muted colors in their looks. Murphy, Damon and Downey Jr. chose a dark suit, only Nolan appeared in a light gray version and combined it with a white shirt and black tie.
