Oppenheimer: This is how you can now stream Christopher Nolan’s masterpiece on Netflix

In July 2023, “Oppenheimer” and “Barbie” ruled the film world and ensured the strongest cinema summer in years. “Barbie” was ahead in terms of box office revenue – which was to be expected for a film suitable for children – but at the Golden Globes and the Oscars, “Oppenheimer” was the biggest winner.

Even though director Christopher Nolan primarily shoots his films for the big screen, interest in the home cinema version of “Oppenheimer” was so great that the first edition of the 4K Blu-Ray in the USA was sold out within a few days. “Oppenheimer” now on Sky and WOW

As a Universal film, “Oppenheimer” has a permanent home, at least in the USA. The film can be seen there on Peacock since February 16, 2024. Peacock is no longer available in Germany; instead, “Oppenheimer” can be seen here on Sky and WOW. The film has been running on the Sky streaming service since March 20, 2024.

In Germany, “Oppenheimer” is currently running exclusively on Sky and WOW, but of course this does not apply to other countries. In Australia, “Oppenheimer” is now also available on Netflix. You can also stream the film on Netflix using a VPN service.

It is quite possible that “Oppenheimer” will one day come to Netflix or Amazon Prime Video in Germany, but that is not expected before 2025.
