Oppo has been able to offer excellent smartphones and it is inevitably with impatience that we want to discover the design of its next showcase with the name still unknown.
The Oppo Find X3 Pro is one of the big hits of the year. With this smartphone, Oppo has finished demonstrating that the brand is now the representative of China to produce real technological jewels. Not to mention the impressive demos of the Oppo X 2021 or the presentation of the Oppo Find N. We are therefore impatiently awaiting what the brand will be able to offer in 2022.
Once again, it is Onleaks who first unveils the design of this new flagship with a still unknown name. Will it be the Oppo Find X4 Pro, the logical and expected sequel, or will Oppo be superstitious and avoid the number 4, known to bring bad luck in Asia, to directly launch the Oppo Find X5 Pro.
If you find this idea ridiculous, remember that it is the choice made by the cousin brand OnePlus by avoiding the launch of a OnePlus 4. Others may recall that Oppo did not have any trouble to the moment to launch smartphones with the number 4, like the Oppo Reno 4 Pro in 2020. It will be necessary to wait until 2022 to discover the final name of the flagship, in the meantime, we can discover its design.
A slight evolution
By discovering the images of Onleaks published on the Prepp.in site, we do not notice any big changes compared to the predecessor, the Oppo Find X3 Pro.
The new smartphone notably takes up this idea of a photo module which “merges” into the chassis to be more discreet. The module’s sensors seem better integrated, but this is a simple 3D rendering from Onleaks, and you will have to wait to have the smartphone in hand to make sure. We can still note the presence of at least three lenses on the back of the smartphone.
At the front, there is a screen with the thinnest possible edges and a front camera clearly visible through a bubble in the screen.
The smartphone also seems rather thin. For the moment the leak is focused on the design, and we will have to wait to learn more about the characteristics. We only know with confidence that the device will integrate the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 from Qualcomm, and that Oppo will also rely on an Oppo MariSilicon X home chip for processing photos.
Oppo is expected to present its new Find X in early 2022.
