(Boursier.com) — The group Orapi presented a half-yearly turnover of 119.1 ME, representing growth of +4.8% over one year on a like-for-like basis. Growth in Q2 2022 stands at +3.8% on a like-for-like basis.

Orapi cites the decrease in demand for Covid products, the price increases made necessary by inflation and organic growth by obtaining or renewing significant contracts.

Demand for Covid hygiene and disinfection products, although at an even higher level than before the health crisis, is thus down sharply by 35% compared to the first half of 2021 and 50% compared to the second quarter. 2021.

In addition, in a post-Covid inflationary context and given the consequences of the war in Ukraine, the group has set up a “Pricing unit” to monitor the effects of inflation as closely as possible. The price increases thus passed make it possible to limit the inevitable unfavorable impact on the margins of the first half and to maintain the forecasts of positive net income in 2022.

Finally, Orapi benefited from the renewal in the first half of the SNCF and Domitys contracts and the obtaining of significant new listings such as Galec (Leclerc stores) and Grand Frais.
