Chinese manufacturer Oukitel has released a new tablet called the Oukitel RT6. Even if the brand is relatively unknown in Germany, the products still have a lot to offer. We were able to convince ourselves of this when testing the outdoor smartphone WP19. We’ll give you an overview of the RT6’s features and show you where you can buy the tablet.
What can the RT6 from Oukitel do?
The display has a size of 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 224 PPI. The IPS panel offers solid image quality. The dimensions are 249.1 x 167.8 x 17.3 millimeters with a high total weight of 1,030 grams. The latter is due to the extremely robust housing.
Performance
The MediaTek MT8788, which has a total of eight computing cores, is responsible for performance. Overall, like the tablet, this is in the middle performance class and should easily be sufficient for all everyday tasks. The chipset is supported by 8 gigabytes of RAM, which is usually enough, but cannot keep up with high-end tablets. However, the RAM can also be increased to 14 gigabytes for an additional charge.

One of the highlights of the RT6, however, is the massive battery. This has a record-breaking size of 20,000 mAh and should easily get you through the day. According to the manufacturer, you can watch videos or films for 15 hours, which can be quite practical. An accompanying disadvantage is of course the weight mentioned above.
Prices and availability
The RT6 can now be purchased in Germany. To date, the tablet is available to purchase on Amazon (with a 30 euro coupon that can be activated) and on the Oukitel website. The price is 336.28 euros for 256 gigabytes of storage space and 8 gigabytes of RAM. With the code “20%OFF” you get a further 20% discount and only pay 269.03 euros.
