Out of the Blue studio announces American Arcadia, a puzzle-game in a reality show

Fans of flared pants and psychedelic decoration will be served with American Arcadia, the next title developed by Out of the Blue. Still under the publishing wing of Raw Fury, the studio explores the genre of puzzle game from another unique angle. We will control two characters in two styles of gameplay quite different. The first will take the form of a 2.5D action-platform game, the other will return to the first person view (as in Call of the Sea) for puzzle and stealth sequences. Citizens of the city of Arcadia, our heroes are in fact unaware of being filmed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a reality show where the candidates least appreciated by the public are fatally eliminated.

To embody his puppets filmed without their knowledge, we will find Yuri Lowenthal in the role of Trevor Hills (the hero of the 2.5D sequences), who we know for having played Peter Parker in the games Spiderman from Insomniac. The female protagonists will be voiced by Krizia Bajos (Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon Forbidden West) and Cissy Jones, who played the lead role of Norah in Call of the Sea. Announced for PC via Steam, it is still unknown on what other supports and when Arican Arcadia could emerge.
