  • Outlander Season 6 Episode Titles Revealed
  • Some of them provide us with quite clear indications of the events that await us in them
  • We tell you the meaning of the episode titles.

The US broadcaster Starz recently published all the episode titles for the upcoming sixth season of “Outlander” on social media. Of course, fans are now speculating about what the eight new episodes could be about.

Some titles make it easy for them, after all they have the same names as chapters from Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander” books. Others are more open to interpretation. We tell you the episode titles and what the episodes could be about.

  • Episode 1: Echoes
  • Episode 2: Allegiance
  • Episode 3: Temperance
  • Episode 4: Hour of the Wolf
  • Episode 5: Give Me Liberty
  • Episode 6: The World Turned Upside Down
  • Episode 7: Sticks and Stones
  • Episode 8: I Am Not Alone

Episode 1 called “Echoes” makes it pretty easy for us, because this episode probably focuses on the main characters Claire and Jamie. As Claire deals with the trauma she experienced in the Season 5 finale, Jamie expects a different “echo” from the past. The Christie family visits Fraser’s Ridge.

Another episode where you can already anticipate what it will be about is episode 4 called “Hour of the Wolf”. While some fans believe it’s about Ian’s half-wolf, Rollo, and fear for his faithful companion’s life, it’s probably about Ian himself.

When he was with the Mohawk, he was called “Wolf’s Brother”. In the following, we could learn more about his time with the tribe and why he returned to Fraser’s Ridge.

It is also interesting that the last chapter of Book 7 of Diana Gabaldon’s books, “Echo of Hope”, is also called “Hour of the Wolf”. In it, Ian and Rachel Hunter have a touching conversation. Rachel becomes important to Ian.

Episode 5, “Give Me Liberty”, is probably about the American Revolutionary War, which will be a major theme in Season 6 and gets the Frasers in trouble as Jamie gets caught between the fronts.

Some fans suspect that Episode 6’s title, “The World Turns Upside Down,” is a reference to the song “Yorktown” from the popular musical “Hamilton.” However, it is more likely that the episode title refers to the chapter of the same name from Book 6 (“A Breath of Snow and Ashes”).

In this chapter, a dark Christie family mystery takes on tragic proportions that rock Jamie and Claire. Viewers can expect shocking revelations.

So far it is difficult to predict what the rest of the consequences will have in store for us. However, on March 6, 2022, the time has finally come and season 6 will start on US television. In Germany, we will probably see the new episodes one day after the US broadcast on the pay TV channel RTL Passion.
