(dpa) At least 22 people died in a house fire in a refugee camp in Gaza, according to Palestinian media reports. As the Wafa news agency reported on Thursday evening, several children are said to be among the dead. Numerous people were injured. The fire broke out in an apartment in Jabalia and spread to the rest of the building. The background was initially unclear.
Jabalia is one of eight refugee camps in Gaza and, with 2.3 million inhabitants, one of the most densely populated regions in the world.
