After a first leak, Blizzard officially presents in detail the new support of Overwatch 2, Kiriko.
After a leak of his introductory short film, Kiriko has finally been shown by Blizzard. This new Overwatch 2 support joins the two Shimada brothers, Hanzo and Genjiin the game’s list of Japanese heroes. Directly tied to the history of the Shimada clan, Kiriko was trained alongside the Shimada brothers and is particularly close to Genji. When the Shimada clan fell and its leader was assassinated, Kiriko found herself to join a group of rebels called the Yokai.
The character possesses, just like the Shimada brothers, the ability to climb the wall. Among his skills, we find in particular a teleportation skill which allows him to go quickly to his allies lacking life points. In combat, Kiriko uses kunais and talismans in order to defend themselves and support their allies.
Kiriko will be available when Overwatch 2 is released, next October 4.
