Overwatch 2: Import your progress and skins from Overwatch now

As announced by Blizzard, to play Overwatch 2, players will need to create or log in to their Battle.net account, regardless of the gaming platform used. This allows, among other things, to take advantage of cross-progression functionality and thus import its progress, including unlocked cosmetic items, to Overwatch 2.

Indeed, from now on, it is possible to merge Overwatch accounts to a Battle.net profile. Those who do not yet have a Battle.net account will need to create one first. To take advantage of cross-platform progression, players must absolutely link their Overwatch account(s) to a unique Battle.net profile and confirm their choice.

Thus, thanks to this association and after the merger of accounts, which will take place when Overwatch 2 is released, Overwatch players will be able to find their statistics, their rank, but also the skins and cosmetic objects (tags, emotes, etc.) already unlocked and from the first title. Note that if you merge several accounts, it is the highest rank and the best values, as far as records are concerned, which will be kept.

If you have not yet linked your Overwatch account to your Battle.net profile, be aware that a dedicated FAQ is available on the official site and tells you what to do, while answering several questions.

Remember that Overwatch 2 will be available, free-to-play, from October 4, on most gaming platforms (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch). Overwatch 2 will feature three new Heroes, including Sojourn and Junker Queen. The app will also have a battle pass.
