Overwatch 2: LEGO revises its partnership with Activision-Blizzard and pushes back the Titan set

Danish brick fans andOverwatch already have Lego officially licensed, resulting from an agreement between Activision-Blizzard and Lego. But in recent months, the publisher and developer of video games is in turmoil, and this does not please the Danish company at all.

As reported The Brick Fan, Lego has decided to review its partnership with Activision-Blizzard, following the many revelations tarnishing the reputation of the studio. Results, the LEGO Overwatch 2 Titan (76980) which was due to hit the market on February 1, is postponed, the brick maker explaining in a press release:

We are currently reviewing our partnership with Activision-Blizzard, given concerns about progress being made to address persistent allegations about workplace culture, particularly the treatment of female colleagues and creating a diverse and inclusive environment. While we complete this review, we will be suspending the release of a LEGO Overwatch 2 product that was scheduled to go on sale February 1, 2022.

Lego is not the first to distance himself from Activision-Blizzard, many partners and sponsors of theOverwatch League have for example ended or re-evaluated downwards their financial implications in the competition eSport. This is clearly not going to help the studio’s business. You can find the Lego overwatch with Jackal and Chopper at € 78.99 on Amazon.
