After “Féerie Hivernale”, the players ofOverwatch 2 will be able to discover a brand new seasonal event and of limited duration. This one is called “The Battle for Olympus”. Blizzard has, moreover, recently shared first information, as well as a trailer, on this subject.
Battle for Olympus in Overwatch 2, dates and information
The seasonal event “Battle for Olympus” starts January 5, 2023 on Overwatch 2, on all the gaming platforms concerned. Fixed-term, it will end on January 19 of this year.
During these few days, the players will have the opportunity to compete according to a “free for all” deathmatch mode, on different maps. According to the latest information shared by Blizzard, the playable characters (7 in total) will be equipped with unique powers.
In addition, the trailer released for the occasion indicates that ” divine rewards can be collected during the event. But we don’t know any more at this time. The player who has eliminated the most opponents during a game will be entitled to his statue on Ilios.
As a reminder, after “The Battle for Olympus”, Blizzard has planned to launch the “Lunar New Year” event, which should start on January 17, 2023.
