10 days after its release, Overwatch 2 continues to cause problems for its players. A new bug is causing your computer to restart.

After a chaotic release, bugs causing disabled heroes and the announcement of a double XP weekend to make amends, Blizzard’s latest game, Overwatch 2, continues to encounter new bugs.

In effect, a new bug has been discovered causing the PC to restart of some players. At the moment, the causes of the bug have not yet been identified, but the developers are currently working on it and ask for the cooperation of the players.

On the Blizzard forums, moderators are asking players to share their information to find the cause of the bug. The procedure to follow is as follows if you experience this bug:

If you are having issues with your PC shutting down while running Overwatch 2, please post your DXDIAG.


  1. Press Windows key + R.
  2. In the Run window, type dxdiag and press Enter.
  3. In the DirectX window, click Save All Info.
  4. Name the file “dxdiag” and save it to your Desktop. Open the new dxdiag file with Notepad.
  5. In the display section, click on the button for “Preformatted text” then paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of the DXDIAG. This will make the information much more readable.
