After its beta which took place a few weeks ago, the game is finally ready to tell us about its release, since it will arrive in its final version in October. Finally, final, not completely.
What is the Overwatch 2 release date?
We already knew that, but Overwatch 2 will be launched in two stages. First its PvP part, expected by the greatest number of fans, then a solo mode which will arrive later, and which will undoubtedly be able to attract some new people.
We therefore learn that the PvP ofOverwatch 2 will be available on October 4 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and even on Nintendo Switch.
Overwatch 2 will be free-to-play

We do not yet know how much this will disrupt the experience, especially for everything Season Pass etc, but it promises to bring many more people to the game. Single player mode was not mentionedbut we can think that it will pay off.

A new heroine, Junker Queen
On the sidelines of all these announcements, we were able to discover a brand new playable character, named Junker Queen. All that we know about her is that she is of Australian nationality, and that she reigns over Junkertown.
We were able to discover some of these capacities in this last trailer, as well as a dedicated cinematic, but we imagine that it will be presented a little more during the livestream organized on June 16. The next few months are therefore likely to be very loaded with information for fans ofOverwatch 2.
