(CercleFinance.com) – OVHcloud announces that it has entered into exclusive negotiations for the acquisition of 100% of the German company gridscale, at the origin of a software platform specializing in hyperconverged infrastructures.
This acquisition, which is expected to be finalized at the beginning of the 2024 fiscal year, would allow OVHcloud to “significantly accelerate its geographical deployment, and enter the recent and very strong growth market of Edge Computing”.
gridscale offers an innovative range of multi-tenant IaaS and PaaS products and services, with the significant competitive advantage of its ‘ability to rapidly deploy a Public Cloud environment on a limited-size infrastructure’.
