The American actor Owen Wilson (55) usually tries to keep his private life out of the public eye. However, he made an exception for a football game on Sunday evening in Los Angeles. As pictures from the BMO Stadium there show, he attended the Los Angeles FC game against the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer with his two sons Ford (13) and Finn (10). The game ended in a 2-2 draw after Los Angeles scored an equalizer from a penalty in stoppage time. The club then even posted the jubilant scenes of Wilson and his children on Instagram, who celebrated the draw extensively.

As befitting their status, Owen Wilson, Ford and Finn were dressed in Los Angeles FC jerseys and other fan merchandise and even watched the decisive scene directly from the sidelines. The actor is the father of three children from three different women. His firstborn, Ford, was born in January 2013 and comes from his relationship with his then-girlfriend Jade Duell. Three years later, Finn was born; his mother is the fitness trainer Caroline Lindqvist. In 2021, Varunie Vongsvirates gave birth to a daughter named Lyla and announced via social media that Owen Wilson was the father. He never commented on it himself.

Wilson rarely spoke about his children in public. In 2021, he gave an interview to Esquire magazine and explained that he lives close to his two sons and gets along wonderfully with them. He also said in a “People” interviewthat he had already attended a painting course with his boys: “All three of us painted a similar mountain landscape and I think they turned out pretty well.”
