Own ex threatened – dispute over money ended in the courtroom

A 40-year-old Mostviertler was in the dock because of dangerous threats against his ex-wife in St. Pölten (Lower Austria). There was a probationary period out of consideration for the two children they had together. And a directive on anti-violence training.

“Here a relationship is taken to court,” the defense locates a dispute over money as the actual background for the accusations of the ex. The woman had already alerted the police in October after the father of her two children is said to have choked her. However, investigations into this came to nothing. Two years of probation After another argument between the former lovers, the next ad followed in April. Now the 40-year-old had to answer to the St. Pölten regional court for dangerous threats against his former partner. The defendant pleaded not guilty. “Of course he takes care of the children, he just doesn’t want to support his ex anymore,” the defender sees as a motive for the allegations. Nevertheless, the accused took advantage of the offer of a diversion – i.e. a two-year probationary period. So that nothing “happens out of emotion” in the future either, Ms. Rat also gave the instruction for anti-violence training on top.
