Ozark, season 4: what to remember from the trailer for part 2

A bloody conclusion. Netlfix has just released the trailer for the second part of the final season 4, the broadcast of the 7 episodes of which should begin on April 29.

Marty and Wendy Byrde’s story is coming to an end, and it promises to unfold in particularly bloody fashion. A question burns the lips of all fans of the series: will the Byrde family manage to get out of the clutches of the Mexican cartel for which they are laundering money and/or from the American authorities with their lives saved? If the trailer is to be believed, it would be nothing short of miraculous.

We feel that the distance between Marty and Wendy continues to grow. To the point of reaching a breaking point? At the very start of the series, Marty had managed to keep himself alive by offering the cartel to launder their money in the Ozarks region of Missouri. Forcing his entire family to leave Chicago to meet the demands of dangerous drug traffickers. Even today, Marty tries to save himself, as well as his family, with great persuasion (we see him going to Mexico in the trailer, editor’s note). But what will he do when nothing else works?

At the end of the first part, Ruth was horrified to discover the bodies of her doting cousin, Wyatt, and Darlene. She is now driven by a thirst for revenge that will only fade with the death of those responsible for their deaths, starting with Javi – one of the leaders of the cartel – whom she shoots at point-blank range in the trailer, without whether it is reality or his imagination. One thing is certain: Ruth has nothing left to lose, and seems determined to plunge the whole enterprise into total chaos.

Fans of the series will be delighted to learn it will also be released from the documentary “A Farewell to Ozark”, which Netflix presents as a “love letter” to the series and its fans, with a behind-the-scenes look at this ultimate season 4. It will be available on April 19, as soon as the first episode of part 2 is online.
