Ozzy Osbourne made it through 2020 as one of the few family members without corona infection. Now he has received the vaccination.

Ozzy Osbourne is among the celebrities who have already received the corona vaccination. The 72-year-old musician was one of the few members of his family to survive the past year without contracting the virus. He was "relieved" to have received the first dose of the vaccine, he said on Friday on the British talk show "Loose Women".

"It felt like I was stabbed," said Osbourne, who made his Parkinson's disease public in 2019, to the women's group. "My arm hurt yesterday, but I'm glad I got it, you know?" Wife Sharon (68) appeared with him on the show, who was infected with the virus in December and self-isolated for several weeks. She said she would not receive the vaccination for two weeks. Their daughter Kelly (36) also had corona symptoms last year, as did Ozzy's three-year-old granddaughter Minnie.

Ozzy Osbourne's fear increased in lockdown

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, who have been married for 40 years, have so far spent the corona pandemic in their home in Los Angeles – a difficult time for Ozzy Osbourne. Parkinson's sufferers are often anxious, so staying at home was particularly difficult for him, explains the musician. But the couple help each other through difficult days. "She is my life," emphasized the singer. "We had our ups and downs along the way, but we cleared everything."
