While we are still waiting for the Huawei P50 Pro to be released in Germany, a new smartphone from the P50 series should be presented in a few days.
The Chinese company announced on Twitter that an event was planned for December 23. The new Huawei P50 Pocket is to be introduced there. Huawei teased the small cell phone with the words “compact and yet powerful”. The silhouette of a flip phone can also be seen.
While it’s no surprise Huawei continues to work on foldables, that announcement came more or less out of nowhere. In addition, Huawei has so far only offered foldable cell phones in the style of a book. The Chinese manufacturer may now want to benefit from the success of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the P50 Pocket.
In the next few days, more teasers from Huawei should provide us with more information about the smartphone. We will then find out more at the latest one day before Christmas. It remains to be seen whether the cell phone will also appear in Europe or whether we will have to wait a few more months, as with the P50 Pro.
