Crown Princess Mary tested positive for COVID-19. The Danish palace confirms this with an official statement.

Princess Mary of Denmark, 49, contracted the corona virus. The Danish royal family will publish an official statement on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 confirming that the Crown Princess has tested positive for COVID-19 and is in quarantine at home.

“The Crown Princess tested positive for COVID-19 today, Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Her Royal Highness remains isolated in Frederiks VIII Palace in Amalienborg. No other family members were found to be infected,” said the communication chief’s statement Lene Balleby.
