Palestinian Red Crescent announces arrival of humanitarian aid trucks via Rafah crossing point

  • The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, reaffirmed Monday October 30 that Israel “will not accept[it] not a cessation of hostilities with Hamas after the horrible attacks of October 7”like the ” UNITED STATES (…) after the bombing of Pearl Harbor or after the terrorist attack of September 11″. During a press conference for foreign media, Mr. Netanyahu estimated that ceasing fire would be giving in to the ” barbarity ” of Hamas. “There is a time for peace and a time for war”he continued. According to Mr. Netanyahu, the Israeli army is advancing ” methodically “ in the Gaza Strip, while “The IDF has expanded its land entry into the Gaza Strip.”
  • During the night from Monday to Tuesday, the Palestinian Red Crescent was alarmed by strikes “incessant” near Al-Quds hospital, in the north of the Gaza Strip, where civilians have taken refuge to protect themselves from Israeli bombings. Another establishment, the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza, also suffered strikes, according to its director.
  • In the Gaza Strip, people “Displaced people face increasingly desperate conditions”reports the UN. Its ability to provide life-saving assistance was “further hampered by the thirty-six hour communications disruption that affected the entire Gaza Strip”she explains in a press release.

  • The Israeli army announced that it had released Ori Megidish, a soldier held hostage in Gazaduring the night from Sunday to Monday, “during IDF ground operations.” On the other hand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the death of a German-Israeli woman kidnapped by Hamas, without specifying the circumstances of this discovery. For its part, Hamas published a video of three women presented as hostages.
