Pocketpair’s popular game has been in the news a lot in recent weeks. So much so that some are looking to take advantage of this good opportunity… with a little haste.

If you’ve seen images of Palworld, you certainly haven’t missed its most striking feature: the creatures found there look a lot like Pokémon. Add to that gameplay reminiscent of titles like Ark or Valheim, and some ideas imported directly from Zelda games, and you get something that smacks of counterfeiting.

Whether the Japanese studio wanted it or not, this image will accompany his game throughout his career, and even beyond the screen.

We can already dress up as Pikachu, so why not dress up as…

If you’re already looking for official Palworld goodies, you’ll be disappointed: the game’s developers haven’t released any yet. But fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your point of view), platforms such as AliExpress are equipped with suppliers who know how to take advantage of new opportunities. It is therefore no surprise that we already find articles bearing the image of our favorite Pals, and in number.

So, what do you think you’ll find? T-shirts? Mugs? 3D printed objects? Yes, but not only. Indeed, the world is full of surprises, and the unofficial goodies that are currently the subject of all attention are none other than disguises. Pokémon already has a history with this type of product, generating images that are as fun as they are surprising. And it is perhaps thanks (or because) of this that it is already possible to disguise yourself as Grizzbolt, Incineram, Cattiva, or Depresso, monsters that you can encounter on Palworld.

When parody is itself parodied

Spotted by Reddit users, who already rank them as memes, we cannot say that they attract attention with their beauty. We find ourselves, in fact, with tight-fitting suits and poor quality plastic masks that are supposed to remind us of Pals. An insult to good taste that would be at home in a horror film, or even on Halloween.

These costumes are already available on eBay and various other sites, after first appearing on AliExpress. Obviously produced by companies based in China, they are priced between $20 and $40 for people measuring 1.10 to 1.90 meters. At this price, we hope that no unwary adult will confuse them with Pokémon costumes, at the risk of disappointing some unfortunate children on October 31.

In the meantime, all this is something to make you smile. While the Pokémon Company is already addressing the issue of copyright infringement, we are mainly dealing here with a hell of a parody of the world of the Japanese company. A parody in some way parodied by these hastily designed costumes, which will surely appear at the next conventions, the humor of some having little limit.
