Double female power on stage: Pamela Anderson made a surprise appearance at Madonna’s concert in Vancouver.
During her tour stop in Vancouver, Madonna (65) surprised her fans by welcoming Pamela Anderson (56) on stage as a special guest. How The US portal “People” reported that concertgoers recorded a video of the iconic moment. In it you can see how the stars hugged and kissed each other on the cheek.
Former “Baywatch” star as a juror
Pamela Anderson performed during Madonna’s classic 1990 song “Vogue.” The “Baywatch” icon acted as a juror on stage – and ultimately held up a sign with ten points. Other guests such as Madonna’s friend Josh Popper (29), actress Julia Garner (30) and presenter Kelly Ripa (53) had already taken on this part in previous shows.
The actress wore a black sweater, a miniskirt and – as usual – without make-up at the Rogers Arena in Canada. Madonna also shared two pictures from the evening in her Instagram story. The two women can then be seen on stage together. “The best legs in the city,” wrote the Queen of Pop. In another photo that was taken backstage, she sent a heart to her special guest.
Madonna has been on tour since fall
Madonna started her tour later than planned last autumn in London in front of 20,000 spectators due to illness. The singer previously had to be treated in the intensive care unit and given artificial ventilation due to a “serious bacterial infection”. A few weeks later she was back in top form on stage.
“I’m looking forward to exploring as many songs as possible in hopes of giving my fans the show they’ve been waiting for,” Madonna said in a press release when the 2023 “Celebration Tour” was first announced. The singer will be on the road until the end of April. She will play five nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles in March. She is expected to welcome other celebrities to the stage there. The grand finale will take place on April 26th in Mexico City.
